This chess competition will start with Stage 1, which is planned with 3 groups (1a, 1b and 1c).  Each group is a single round robin which means that all the participants will play each other once. In total 66 games will be played for each group which comes to 198 for all groups. The top five from each group and the best 6th placed will qualify for Stage 2 (16 in total).
