U.S. Championship Round 1 & 2 Update

While the two rounds of U.S. Championship were in progress in St Louis, it was a continuous tensed affair, as ten of the twelve games played so far ended in draws.

Chess in Schools approved by Government

The game of chess has been a very sought after activity among all Greek people. Recently, Greek Ministry of Education declared on 25th April 2014 that chess is included in compulsory program for the primary schools. With careful thought the Ministry concluded that the chess curriculum meets the counseling and teaching quality criteria and academic suitability.
