Thumbnail World Chess Championship Match 2018

The 44th World Chess Championship match played between World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen and...

... Fabiano Caruana. It organized by FIDE, the World Chess Federation, and was played at The College in Holborn, London, between 9 and 28 November 2018.
The challenger Fabiano Caruana manages to win the candidate tournament against Sergey Karjakin, Levon Aronian, Ding Liren, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Alexander Grischuk, Wesley So, και Vladimir Kramnik.

Players had plenty of time to think about their moves; one game could possibly take approximately 8 hours of play! The prize fund was 1 million euros and it will be divided into players according to their performance.

In order to understand better the games, I prepared some didactic videos for you for every single game of the match. You can study those videos if you are a registered user to the site (if not then please click here), and then you need to log in into your account, and finally visite the lessons:
