Newbie 500

Course Description

Chess is more than a game of winning and losing. It combines creativity, logic, strategy, competition, and fun. Above all, however, chess is a game that can be enjoyed at every level.

Newbie 500 is the starting point of the Chess Training System, designed for complete beginners and players who are still building their fundamental chess skills.

During this series of courses, we will discover why chess has remained one of the world's most fascinating games, learn how the chessboard works, understand how to read and navigate it, and study the basic movements and interactions between the pieces.

With more than 20 years of experience explaining chess to students, the lessons are presented in a simple and practical way, helping us understand the rules without unnecessary complexity.

We will also explore common mistakes made by new players and learn practical ways to avoid them. Understanding these mistakes early can help us build better habits and develop our chess skills more effectively.

The goal is not simply to learn how the pieces move. The goal is to create a solid foundation for everything that comes next.
